Rates are on a sliding scale according to the income of individuals or the operating expenditure of organizations. Calculation of the fee is to be made by individuals or organizations when applying for membership.

OBJECTIVES
- To facilitate the development of hospice and palliative care programs (both service providers and umbrella bodies) and other relevant initiatives.
- To promote professional and public education in palliative care.
- To enhance communication and dissemination of information.
- To foster research and collaborative activities.
- To encourage co-operation with local, regional and international professional and public organizations.
ACTIVITIES
- Collaborating with education institutions and organizations to run courses, seminars, conferences and other education and skills development activities.
- Recommending experienced faculty to work with hospice and palliative care programs at the bedside and in the daycare.
- Providing management consultancy for developing hospice and palliative care program care programs.
- Distributing regular updates of relevant activites in the region.
- Maintaining a database of all known hospice and palliative care organizations and service providers.
- Maintaining the RAH website: www.rumahospice.org.in
- Linking clinicians, patients and family members with palliative care service providers.
- Providing basic general healthcare to the underprivileged community.
